1. General information
The website presents ARINCS services. Its content is informational and is not legal, tax, immigration, or other professional advice, nor a guarantee of any application outcome.
2. Formation of an assignment
Submitting a form, email, or document does not automatically create a contract. The assignment is formed when the quote or agreement is signed and returned, ARINCS confirms acceptance, and any required deposit is received.
3. Quotes and fees
The quote specifies scope, fees, taxes, timeline, delivery format, and possible additional charges. Fees are set according to the circumstances of the assignment. A change in scope may require a revised quote.
4. Client responsibilities
The client must provide complete, legible, and lawfully disclosable documents, state the intended use, identify deadlines, and confirm the receiving authority’s requirements. The client remains responsible for the accuracy of names, dates, numbers, and information supplied.
5. Translation
Translation is performed according to the document supplied, agreed instructions, and applicable professional obligations. It is not legal advice and does not guarantee acceptance of a file, credential equivalency, immigration status, or any other third-party decision.
6. Interpreting
The client must provide the date, time, estimated duration, location or platform, participants, and context. Travel, preparation, recording, cancellation, and waiting-time conditions are set out in the quote. No recording may be made without prior authorization where required by law or applicable rules.
7. Timing and delivery
Time periods begin once all required elements, the signed quote, and any required deposit have been received. Delays caused by incomplete documents, changed scope, force majeure, or a third party may result in a revised timeline.
8. Revisions and corrections
An error attributable to ARINCS will be corrected without charge within a reasonable period after notice. Changes to the source, new instructions, an unagreed stylistic preference, or additions requested after delivery may be chargeable.
9. Cancellation
Cancellation terms and amounts due for work completed, preparation, reserved time, or costs incurred are stated in the quote. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
10. Confidentiality and personal information
ARINCS observes professional secrecy and processes information under its privacy policy. The client should not transmit more personal information than is necessary for the assignment.
11. Liability
ARINCS is responsible for professional performance within the agreed scope. Nothing excludes liability that cannot be limited by law. Decisions by an administration, court, educational institution, or other third party are outside ARINCS’s control.
12. Intellectual property
Website content belongs to ARINCS or is used with permission and may not be reproduced commercially without authorization. Rights in a delivered translation depend on the assignment, applicable law, and rights in the source document.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws applicable in Québec and Canada. Mandatory consumer protections are not waived. The language versions are intended to be consistent; the French version is the reference in the event of divergence, subject to applicable law.
Contact
The French version is the reference version, subject to any mandatory rights that apply.
